A GOAL AND A MARKER

I was just reading how we are all feeling a bit like we are off and want back on the raw wagon...
Shall we set a date for our raw-ish-renewal-revival and do it officially together again? For fun and cleansing?

Dec 15 maybe? A bit before the next blast of holiday party-time.
Jac and I get back the 4th. I could go for it anytime after that...of course without making it a goal or an aspiration... ;)

Of course! Eating raw isn't a goal - it's a day-by-day experience! I'm for starting as soon as you two return.

I tell you I am winging myself off the not raw now. I had a green drink today and it tasted so good.
Salad with dinner. I am going to buy a pomegranate tomorrow, maybe even two, I want to create that salad that Bo made for our lovely dinner....

I have just been doing the same as always. Green drink for breakfast, raw veggies and some kind of protein for lunch (usually fish or turkey) then salad cooked protein for dinner. Most nights. For me it is far more about balance than being raw. I know the raw is ideal but my aspiration is healthy: keeping blood sugar and brain chemistry balanced. The raw is the icing on the cake for me (LOL what an awful analogy). The other parts imperative for me are relaxation and exercise. I want to start Yoga but need to get past that first hurtle, starting. However, I'm all for adding more raw, I am pretty limited in my menu.

One of the raw books I have read, the author said that she was raw until dinner for years. That seems to work pretty well for me. I am adding it back in already like Jac says. I have been going to the gym again the past two weeks and it feels really good to have added the cardio back in. I love it when we all support each other through this process.
