Once in a Blue Moon

Once in a blue moon an event happens that changes your entire view of life and connects you solidly and intertwinably to the universe, becoming one with the source of being. I can count these events on one hand: taking a leisurely stroll in a mall, watching a pink and gold sunrise, waking up from a recurring dream, grieving on my mother's death. I can now add one more event to that list: the birth of my granddaughter, Madison May. Maddie May checked into the world at 2:04 yesterday (5/31/2007, day of a full blue moon), weighing in at 8 pounds, 4 ounces.

What a beautiful baby girl! She looks like she is fully in her body and ready to go. Congratulations Pam, I so happy for you.

How wonderful. Thank you for posting such a beautiful miracle. I can feel your awe. Its always so different when the grandchildren are born. When you are birthing your own your kind of lost in the process and miss some of what we get to experience when the grandbabies get here.

Congratulations! Here's to life! And love. And breath!

Think of it-every single thing is ahead of her!

So, as an honorary fairy godmother, here are my wishes 'twinkle twinkle' for her:

May life always hold her sweetly and gently.
May she always remember who she is, and her connection to the light.
May she alway shine brightly!

Wow, what a pretty baby. How special is that? To be born on a blue moon. I think Miss Maddie May is going to be a very interesting person. Congratulations Grandma, and to her Mom, and Baby too.

I think Blue Moon is her shamanic name-what do you think everyone? We should have shamanic blessing rites! Not many of us get our name like that!
